John P. Newman - I am the founder of Red Bear Landscape and an experienced landscape, architectural and management professional with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Whilst practising in architecture I studied Landscape Architecture which I had always had a passion for. I saw landscape and architecture and interiors as one integrated design approach. I went onto develop and head up a landscape team within an architectural practice. Learning to grow and site plants from an early age was fundamental to my understanding of how to use and manage planting within my designs. I am particularly passionate about the social research, preservation and repurposing heritage elements in innovative and sustainable ways which add interesting layers to practical and robust projects.
